Stimulating, safe and caring environment. Team of excellent teachers who each show a genuine consideration for each child's experience in learning, play and social interaction. I feel at ease leaving my child with the team as I feel confident they have their best interests at heart. You can see a lot of thought goes into all the activities, with teachers taking the time to carefully consider the needs of the group. Teachers provide dedicated reports back to parents on their children to let them know how they are progressing, in addition to the daily updates, which I think is lovely and reassuring. I have four children who have attended different kindergarten and I must say, this is by far my favorite. From the moment I first visited, I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well-maintained the space was. Most of the toys are high-quality wooden ones, there is a wide variety of interesting and engaging books here. The classrooms are beautifully decorated, with photos of all the families, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Most of the staff, including the teachers and office personnel, are women, and they are all lovely, kind, and always smiling. I also noticed how attentive they are—they regularly refill the children’s water bottles and reapply sunscreen, which I really appreciate. We moved to Brisbane a year ago, and despite the new city and new school, my son has never cried at school, not even once. It’s clear how much care and happiness he feels here. The school keeps parents well-informed, sending regular updates and photos so we always know how our children are doing and what they’re learning. The curriculum is rich, and during his interview for next year’s primary school, the new principal gave great feedback, saying that he’s fully prepared for prep. We are so grateful to all the teachers and staff here. If there’s one minor downside, it’s that due to specific reasons, they cannot provide meals, so we have to bring our own. However, this is not a major issue for us. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience, and we are thankful for everyone we’ve encountered here. Thank you! Read more
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a heartfelt review. We’re truly grateful to hear about your positive experience with our kindergarten, and that your son feels so happy and secure here at AEC. It's wonderful to know that our focus on creating a warm and nurturing environment stands out to you and your family. We also appreciate your kind acknowledgment of the care and attention our staff gives to the children, reflecting our commitment to creating safe and nurturing learning environments. Regarding the meals, we understand how convenient it can be to have meals provided. However, we truly believe that children bringing their own food offers many benefits. It allows each child to enjoy foods that they know and prefer, which can make them feel more comfortable and empowered during mealtimes. It also helps them develop a sense of independence and responsibility—skills that are crucial as they transition to a school environment. Furthermore, it gives parents full control over their child’s diet, which can be especially helpful in managing any allergies, preferences, or cultural choices. For added convenience, we partner with Lilly’s Little Lunchbox, a wonderful service that delivers freshly prepared, nutritious lunchboxes directly to our centre. This way, families have the option to either pack their own meals or rely on a trusted service for a variety of healthy, delicious options. You can explore their offerings at Lilly’s Little Lunchbox. Once again, thank you for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us. We are so grateful to have your family as part of our community and look forward to continuing to support your son’s learning and development.
