Great school. My son has loved going there from his very first day!

A supportive and caring environment for the little ones to learn and evolve. All the carers are so invested in the wellbeing of our kid, and we love their sustainable and social ethos. A high recommend.

Our experience with KU has been nothing short of incredible. The staff have all been so welcoming as our daughter makes the transition from daycare to preschool (or 'park school' as she calls it!). Being set in beautiful Petersham Park means the children spend so much of the day outside, surrounded by nature. Whilst the hours are shorter than a long daycare centre, the fact that our daughter happily races out the door each morning makes it more than worth it! We could not be happier.

KU Petersham is a beautiful example of a community pre school. Our kid has been nurtured by the lovely staff who facilitate learning and fun with a focus on inclusion. They take their leads from kids interest whilst applying the learning curriculum. They have a fantastic outdoor space, I love that the kids are constantly close to nature. Happy to recommend KU Petersham to any family who are looking for a supportive, inclusive environment.

My daughter started at KU this Jan after turning 3 last August. We had some “change” teething for her but all of the teachers and director have been very supportive in this and Its clear that they all care and are very passionate. My daughter has now settled in nicely and is making some beautiful connections and friends. The playground/outdoor area is perfect for playing, connecting, exploring and learning and has a pond, vegetable/plant garden, a tree to climb and other play material to climb, a tree swing, large sand pit, and large trampoline. Would recommend to anyone looking at starting thier 3-4 year old in a preschool.

We sent our daughter to KU Petersham preschool for 2 years (2019-2020). It is an exceptional preschool, the best I have ever experienced. My daughter has some additional needs and the staff did everything they could to support her social and emotional development in preparation for school, including developing an inclusive learning plan for her (which were effectively implemented by the staff) and working with her outside therapists to ensure consistency in approach between preschool and home. The centre has also put a lot of work into their outdoor environment and my daughter still has an enduring love of gardening and nature as a result of the projects she worked on at KU. My daughter is now thriving in her mainstream school environment, and I'm well aware that the support she received KU Petersham was a huge part of preparing her for that. It is an exceptionally inclusive and supportive environment, with talented and dedicated staff who really care about helping each child develop their potential. A big thank you to Kathy, Sam, Elysia and all the other educators at KU Petersham.

KU Petersham Preschool has been educating and caring for children for almost 70 years. They are proud of their reputation within the local community for providing rich education and care that concentrates on supporting children in building lifelong skills, a love for learning and a sense of community. Their centre is a welcoming and nurturing space where each child is immersed in a rich tapestry of educationally interactive experiences – a space where children are supported to be their own, unique selves, growing and developing a sense of belonging and empowerment.

I couldn't recommend KU Petersham Preschool enough. The staff are kind, consistent, experienced and professional. Our daughter loves attending here and it is so apparent that she is learning lots. The environment, especially the outdoor space, is fantastic.

We immediately felt welcome within KU Petersham Preschool. Our kids love going each day and rave about all the wonderful things they do. It is such a friendly, caring and knowledgeable group of staff who are doing an incredible job of preparing the kids for their transition to school next year. The children and community that come with it are also amazing - the preschool really takes advantage of this and creates the close community feeling that we were after with the numerous picnics, working bees etc. you have the opportunity to take part in. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Our first child attended here and loved it, our second is currently there and has a great time. The staff are lovely and caring, and their large outdoor area with covered sandpit, art, trampoline, gardens and play equipment is a big reason KU Petersham stands out. Outdoor play is so important for development away from screen time. We have no hesitation recommending KU Petersham.
