Reiterating the recent complaints shared below about the approved provider "genius" (*eyeroll*) who operate the centre from outside the ACT. Do not bother touring this centre next week because everyone you meet will no longer be there the week following, it will be a whole new team, unfamiliar with working with each other and strangers to the children who will be strangers to each other, very sad thought. They were paid to take over this centre from G8 because it was losing money, so the first cut they make is actually not paying the staff at all!? I felt ashamed when I discovered that these staff were still caring for my kids without being paid wages and super for weeks at a time. They've had enough now and I don't blame them. How Genius remains an "approved provider" to deliver taxpayer subsidised care is a mystery to us all. Complaints have been made to the "responsible" people/bodies/politicians but it all falls on deaf ears. Just the outright disrespect, lies, and ghosting is appalling. But they will be ready at the door (metaphorically) following this current exodus of staff and families to welcome in the next victims of their scam because who's stopping them? Read more

So incredibly sad to be leaving our childcare family at the centre. Unfortunately, the centre has deteriorated since taken over by genius early... So incredibly sad to be leaving our childcare family at the centre. Unfortunately, the centre has deteriorated since taken over by genius early in the year. I had read bad reviews about genius at the time of takeover, about staff not being paid and centres closing with no notice, and now unfortunately our experience has supported these negative views. The actual day to day staff at the centre have been so wonderful and I can’t praise them enough for the wonderful care they have provided my son for 2 years, since before genius took over. Unfortunately, with the centre changes and high staff turn over, there is so much uncertainty and we have made the tough but necessary decision to move our son to a different centre, because we don’t know who will be there to look after our son and even if they will have staff to open the doors on any given morning beyond December.
