About Jnr Explorers
We are a small family orientated service who prides on giving children more than just education - we provide holistic care and embrace everything including child's health, wellbeing and creative expression.
Our Educators are passionate about caring for children and supporting them to thrive in a loving and nurturing environment.
We know and understand that every child's routine is different, so we work closely with parents to mirror your home routine within the centre.
Our Curriculum and Educators
Jnr Explorers curriculum is child directed and based on children's interest. It is designed to encourage children to explore, create, problem solve, construct and engage with peers. We have an above average child to educator ratio here at jnr explorers which is hard to come by in most centres.

We love JNR Explorers. We feel so well supported by the team there. Everyone in the centre knows our kids, their personalities and interests, and they support them in their development and social skills - after moving from a different centre we have seen our daughter's confidence and language skills grow tenfold. But the thing we notice most is that our kids are happy, and so are all their friends. It's great. Read more

As a teacher myself, it is so great to see show much fun and excitement the director and educators bring to my daughter’s first official learning experience. They have a lot of play based learning but also important focuses throughout the day. They care about each child and connect with the families and local community. I can honestly say my daughter has never cried being dropped off there as she loves it so much. Highly recommend. Read more

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
