I have had the joy of my child attending this service from 11 months to 6 years. She has been well cared for,... I have had the joy of my child attending this service from 11 months to 6 years. She has been well cared for, loved and supported throughout all of this time. She has made some strong friendships along the way, and I have loved seeing her blossom from a baby into a caring, compassionate “big girl” who is thriving in “big school”. I have never had to worry about leaving my child at Karen’s Family Day Care. I know that she is treated with the same love and care that I provide at home. I have always been well informed about how my daughter’s day has been and had all questions answered in a timely way. Karen is skilled in working with children. The service is clean and well resourced. Appropriate activities are set up and available for all age groups. All children are supported to participate and join in. Families are supported to get to know one another - friendships that have continued even though our children now attend different schools. During COVID I knew that my child was in as safe a place as she could be, and I appreciated that she had a much smaller group of contacts than she would have in a large centre. Overall, I know that I couldn’t have chosen a better place for my child to be cared for and for my child to have been prepared for big school. I would recommend this service to anyone, especially if you are looking for a small group setting where the children are treated like family. Read more
