SDN Macquarie Park is a vibrant addition to the SDN village, offering high-quality early childhood education and care for up to 90 daily children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. As part of SDN, a not for profit organisation with a 120 year history, our new purpose-built centre provides an inclusive, play-based program.
Our environment is designed to create a safe and welcoming space that supports the inclusion of every child. We support children to get ready for school and beyond.
Our centre includes nursery, toddler and preschool spaces, along with a dedicated Autism Specific Program, specially designed for more intensive and targeted support for autistic children to support their transition to school.
Facilities and features:
- The outdoor space includes a bike track, sand pit, water play area and sensory spaces, fostering exploration, creativity, movement and learning.
- Indoors, children enjoy playrooms filled with natural light, alongside a communal dining area that encourages interaction with our trained cook.
- The centre is surrounded by ample street parking with dedicated pick up and drop off zones, as well as a parking area for prams.
Family partnership:
At SDN Macquarie Park, we believe in strong partnerships with families. Our educators collaborate with parents to understand each child’s unique strengths and interests, shaping learning environments that support individual development. We offer a family meeting room for confidential discussions with educators and the Centre Director.
SDN is committed to being a child safe organisation.

SDN Children’s Services
As the year wraps up, SDN is proud to share that we've positively impacted 5,235 children and families across our village. 🙌🙌🏻🙌🏾 This is a 9% increase from last year, driven by a growth in the number of children at our centres and by supporting more children and families with additional needs. 😍 We also actively advocate for inclusion in the wider early childhood sector, supporting 363 other service providers through agency programs (such as Start Strong Pathways, and Child & Family Interagency). As we approach our 120th year, we're excited to continue supporting children and families in inclusive environments. 🌟 #SDNChildrensServices #SDNVillage #SDN120 #OurImpact #ChildrensServices #EarlyChildhood #Inclusion #Advocacy #CareForKids
