  • A safe and welcoming space that supports the needs and interests of every child
  • Large and vibrant indoor and outdoor learning spaces
Welcome to SDN Macquarie Park

SDN Macquarie Park is a vibrant addition to the SDN village, offering high-quality early childhood education and care for up to 90 daily children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. As part of SDN, a not for profit organisation with a 120 year history, our new purpose-built centre provides an inclusive, play-based program.

Our environment is designed to create a safe and welcoming space that supports the inclusion of every child. We support children to get ready for school and beyond.

Our centre includes nursery, toddler and preschool spaces, along with a dedicated Autism Specific Program, specially designed for more intensive and targeted support for autistic children to support their transition to school.

Facilities and features:

  • The outdoor space includes a bike track, sand pit, water play area and sensory spaces, fostering exploration, creativity, movement and learning.
  • Indoors, children enjoy playrooms filled with natural light, alongside a communal dining area that encourages interaction with our trained cook.
  • The centre is surrounded by ample street parking with dedicated pick up and drop off zones, as well as a parking area for prams.

Family partnership:

At SDN Macquarie Park, we believe in strong partnerships with families. Our educators collaborate with parents to understand each child’s unique strengths and interests, shaping learning environments that support individual development. We offer a family meeting room for confidential discussions with educators and the Centre Director.

SDN is committed to being a child safe organisation.

Centre philosophy

You wouldn’t change your child for the world, but you would change the world for your child. That’s why when we welcome children and families to our SDN village, we create a place where every child belongs.

SDN is not-for-profit. Partnering our diverse range of professionals with families to provide the best learning opportunities is what sets us apart. Together, we create a village so that every day is a chance for your child to thrive.

SDN is a child safe organisation. Our child safe culture is championed at all levels of SDN and is enshrined in our policy framework and our practice. Everything we do is designed to safeguard children, from the physical environments of our centres in which children play and learn through to how we listen to children and promote children’s rights.

At SDN, we are inclusive. We don’t just talk about inclusion, we do it. All our services welcome children from all communities, cultures and needs. Inclusion at SDN is delivered through our spaces, through our communication, through our food, through our educational program; it is inherent in all aspects of our village.

Your child, is supported by our village.
