Welcome to Building Futures Montessori - Wavell Heights

In our childcare classrooms, you will see children right from birth working independently to develop practical life skills. These experiences develop and extend independence, concentration, willpower and persistence, which aid children in becoming confident and involved learners and, later in life, contributing members of society. The child’s potential is only limited by the experiences with which they are provided.

Children move through sensitive periods on their journey of development. Each child’s journey of development is unique. At Building Futures Wavell Heights, we place trust in each individual child on this learning journey and provide a safe educational play environment. We support their individual growth by providing specifically designed equipment with varying levels of complexity. The variety of equipment and ease of access ensures every child can be a successful, capable and confident learner.

Social cohesion is enhanced by our mixed age groupings. These allow the older children to develop responsibility and confidence while providing opportunities for the younger children to learn from and aspire to further learning carried out with the older children in the same group.
