Welcome to Bright Sparks Early Learning - Rixon Road!
We provide high quality education and care for the littlest people in our community.
Why we are different?
We offer care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old in our Long Day Care Service, and for school aged children at Appin Public School for the children up to 12 years old. We are different to standard child care services as we:
- We provide a balanced, 6 weekly rotating menu that meets all the nutritional needs of our children, in a kitchen that rates "excellent" in our regular inspections. We are a nut free service
- Proven, successful & specialised School Readiness Program delivered by University Trained Educators
- Kinderm8 App for “real time” updates of your child’s learning & development, photos, meals, sleeping and more
- Partnered with Wollongong University for further education, and implementing strategies to provide the best possible outcomes for children’s development
- Partnered with Wollondilly Shire Council for the Mobile Library experience.
- Only the best educators are retained at Bright Sparks and each brings a set of valuable skills and strengths that enhance your child’s learning.
We Cater to Additional Needs - We have been a Satellite Centre for SDN Beranga to ensure that we can cater effectively to children with additional needs. Bright Sparks Educators continually reflect on best practices in this area, engage professional training and consultancy to ensure we are delivering the most current strategies.
Personal Orientation on commencement - Our families are all given a personal orientation when they commence with our centre and we encourage open and honest communication for the best outcomes for the children.
Speech Pathologist working onsite - We also provide complimentary assessments and group Speech Therapy to the children enrolled with our service.
Our educators are committed to the education and care of young people and know what a privilege and a responsibility this is.
