Only About Children South Melbourne

At Only About Children South Melbourne we aim to be the leading holistic early learning provider in our community through education development and wellbeing. We seek to empower every child to reach their full potential through a passion for learning.

Our unique Campus is located 221 Ferrars Street, South Melbourne, in a heritage listed train station which was built in 1883.

We have:

• Four dedicated outdoor play areas with bike tracks, climbing frames, sandpits, a worm farm, growing area and bamboo forest
• Large sunshades for outdoor play on summer days
• Five age-based classrooms designed around three different age groups: nursery, toddler and preschool/kindergarten

Enrolment includes:

• Health Program - with Allied Health support in Nutrition, Vision, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology
• Daily Dietitian designed, freshly prepared meals
• All essentials from nappies, formula and cot linen to sunscreen
• Excursions and local community activities

Learning

Our play-based curriculum allows consistent teaching in small group learning environments featuring:

• Qualified and passionate Educators
• Oac Grow curriculum supporting Nursery and Preschool aged children
• Daily fun and inclusive learning in numeracy, literacy, exploration, technology, sustainability and creative expression

Only About Children is proud to display the Kinder Tick because we’re an approved provider of a Victorian Government funded kindergarten program. That means our service delivers a play-based learning program, led by a qualified early childhood teacher.
