Rosny Early Learning Centre overview

Welcome to Rosny Early Learning

Rosny Early Learning is a not for profit, community based service owned and operated by Clarence City Council. We are licensed to care for 38 children aged from eight months to five years. Our service offers full day and weekly bookings with trained, professional and experienced staff providing consistent high quality care in a warm and friendly environment.

Our vision is to provide a safe, happy, enriched, and sustainable minded environment which encircles children, families, service staff and our community. Our service strongly advocates the importance of play in the early education and care setting. Our service’s small size enables us to cater for the individual needs of children in an enriching and spacious shared indoor/outdoor environment.

Our service is purpose built with three age-based rooms, all are connected by shared spaces. This enables children to transition easily to the next room when it is time. Each room is defined with a Tasmanian animal-themed name.

  • Tasmanian Pygmy Possums: Space for eight children, aged between 8 months – 2 years old, with two early childhood educators.
  • Little Penguins: Space for 10 children aged between, 2 – 3 years old, with two early childhood educators.
  • Superb Fairy Wrens: Space for up to 20 children, aged 3 – 5 years old, with two early childhood educators.
