SDN Hurstville is a 39-place centre offering early childhood education and care for children from 18 months to school age in Sydney’s St George area.
The centre is part of SDN Children's Services, which is a not for profit organisation.
As a smaller centre with a high staff-to-child ratio, we are able to provide your child with small-group, interest-based learning experiences. Our centre has two rooms, one for 18 months-3 year old children, and one for 4-5 year old children with a transition to school program.
We work in partnership with families and we help children to connect with their local community through excursions to the park, library and local shops and through celebrating cultural events such as Lunar New Year. We also have a large and vibrant outdoor play area surrounded by nature.
We have a dedicated team of educators and teachers from diverse backgrounds.
We support children to not only be school-ready, but life-ready.
At SDN, your child is supported by our village.
The SDN village is a caring, inclusive, and supportive community, where your child is the centre of everything we do. We give them the freedom to invent, create, explore, and express their true selves, every day. A place where they can use their voices. And when they do, we listen.
We see the whole child and know that children thrive when we support them to grow caring hearts, healthy bodies, and curious minds.
SDN is committed to being a child safe organisation.
