Our pedagogical philosophy is deeply rooted in Play-Based Learning, the Walker Learning Approach, and Nature Play, ensuring that every child experiences an enriching and developmentally appropriate early education.
JELC recognises play as the foundation of early childhood education. My son was attending other daycare for nearly two years, he was resisting and crying to go the daycare every morning so I was looking for another daycare even it was very close to my house. One Saturday morning, we had opportunity to attend the Joondalup early learning centre’s community opening day with full of fun and enjoyment of the day. My son was so happy and really enjoy at that time so I enrolled him on next day and paid for the two weeks of enrolment fees to secure the position. My son has been going five days a week for three months now and he always very happy and looking forward to going his daycare, seeing and playing with his friends and educators. The staff are very supportive, friendly, compassionate and fully qualified. The chef is an educator and also a cook who can accommodate all the kids’ dietary requirements and needs. The Joondalup early learning centre also provides free occupational assessment and gives you the comprehensive results so you can discuss with the educators for designed program. I was concerned about my son’s development so I requested an occupational assessment and received the report. I showed the report to the educator and discussed with her to ensure that the designed program met my son’s needs. My son and I have received high standards service from the Joondalup early learning centre and I highly recommended this centre to everyone. Read more
