About our Centre
We are a small independently run centre located in central Robina. Our 4-room centre enables us to connect with children and families on a deeper level with a sense of community in our centre. Our centre is an all-inclusive care with all meals prepare on site daily from fresh ingredients by our fully qualified chef.
Our centre embraces the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, placing children at the centre of their learning journey. We believe in fostering a collaborative environment where children, educators, families, and the community come together to explore, create, and grow
Our Team
Robina’s team of professional, caring and committed Educators from day one look forward to developing meaningful and ongoing relationships with you and your child as we welcome you into our community.
These relationships underpin our holistic approach to providing care, education and play in ways that are relevant and hold meaning to each unique family.
We believe that the early years are fundamental to brain development and that with the right mix of love, learning and laughter children will develop the skills needed to be well equipped, resilient and happy both now and throughout life.
As a community we value and celebrate the relationship, values, input and culture each family brings in addition to our wider community of individuals and professionals.
Kindergarten Program
Our centre offers the Queensland Governments Free Kindy program run by an Early Childhood Teacher and long day care, all under the one roof.

Robina Town Child Care Centre sees the environment as the third educator, and understands that a quality environment responds to the many ways in which children learn, grow and develop.
The warm and inviting environment of the centre lets children and families know that they are welcome, with an aesthetically pleasing, ordered, peaceful space designed to support children’s play and stimulate dynamic teaching.
There is plenty of space for children to run, jump, be loud, enjoy hands-on experiences; as well as spaces of beauty, and quiet areas to unwind and rest.
Sustainability is at the heart of the centre, and research has shown that the earlier children are given opportunities to connect with nature, learn about the environment and their impact upon it, the more likely they will be environmentally responsible as adults. The centre is governed by a sustainability policy with embedded practices demonstrating their respect for nature.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Robina Town Child Care Centre is focused on providing children the space to learn through play. Through active engagement in free play and structured activity, children employ a range of complex networks of abilities, interests and spoken languages. Engagement in diverse forms of play fosters the development of a spirit of curiosity, experimentation and discovery with children being supported to develop their thinking and understandings, fine and gross motor skills, language, personal and social awareness, emotional well-being and creativity.
The curriculum is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework, which ranges from the routines of the day such as rest time and mealtimes through to the experiences and events all of which may be planned or spontaneous.
To develop an effective curriculum for children, the centre is involved in an ongoing cycle of observation, planning, documenting and reviewing of teachings and practice. All of their planning starts with observing children to understand and give consideration to their individual and group interests, development and learning preferences.

The educators believe that quality interactions with educators and peers will facilitate experiences that empower children to develop strategies for active exploration, thinking and reasoning as they grow to become confident and competent learners.
The centre’s aim is to encourage children to promote a positive and proactive approach towards the environment and a sustainable future. With a vision of providing only the best in education and care, the centre offers a high-quality educational program and educational environment, based on a policy of child-centred learning.
Educators are inspired to collaborate with families, colleagues, company, and community to create villages whose strength lies in unlocking the unlimited potential of each child.
Inclusion and diversity is something that the centre is proud of and celebrates. They enjoy experiencing and learning from their team and families' multinational origins. Working with families and community partners, the educators co-design strategies and approaches to remove barriers and enhance the experience for all children.
A Message from our Centre Manager - Miss Rachael
Since starting my career in the Early Years Education in 2012 with Robina, I have been rewarded with a career like no other, from our wonderful children and families to the educators and community and I am proud to manage our beautiful Robina centre.
Each and every day we strive to nurture children, build positive & trusting relationships with all and embed a sense of community into our service at Robina.
We continue to ensure the individuality of the child is reflected in our service and use the benefit of our 4 rooms centre to offer more personalised one on one care to our children and families.
We welcome you to visit our homely centre and meet our educators.

I wouldn't recommend this centre, High staff turn over, teachers are okay but lack communication with parents and children and no community feel. I wouldn't recommend this centre, High staff turn over, teachers are okay but lack communication with parents and children and no community feel.

👉 Nominate an educator here: https://tye2024.careforkids.com.au On Wednesday 4th September, we celebrate the amazing educators who make a difference in the lives of our children every day. Their dedication, passion, and care help shape the future and create a positive, nurturing environment for our little ones to thrive. If you’d like to show your appreciation for a special educator, we invite you to nominate them through Toddle's "Thank You Educator" program. It’s a wonderful way to recognize their hard work and let them know how much they mean to you and your child. #CAREFORKIDS

NAIDOC Week, celebrated annually in Australia, honors the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year, the theme is "Keep the Fire Burning, Blak, Loud and Proud," emphasizing the resilience, pride, and enduring spirit of Indigenous communities. This year we are engaging children with storytelling, traditional arts and resources and learning the language of the Yugambeh people. By introducing children to Yugambeh words and phrases, we aim to foster appreciation and respect for Indigenous heritage, inspiring the younger generation to embrace and celebrate their cultural identity proudly and loudly. #CAREFORKIDS

Project walls.... Children feel safe when they see familiar things around them, and by having pictures of themselves and their families on the wall, not only do we build a sense of security for them in the physical environment, but their sense of self-esteem is also developed. #CAREFORKIDS
