The Kalgoorlie Occasional Childcare centre is a not-for-profit community based centre. They provide a play based curriculum guided by the EYLF that allows children to learn and develop at their own rate. Their goal is to provide a nurturing environment, helping children to feel safe, secure and supported to learn, grow and make friends. As a small 35 place service it allows educators to get to know your families well, helping to create a close network that can best support your child’s learning and development. Their unique casual bookings allow families to book the days that they need without paying for unnecessary care.
They have 2 rooms at the centre. Their 3ups/Pre-kindy program is a dedicated school readiness program that helps children to get ready for starting Kindergarten the year after. This program helps children to develop the necessary skills they need to succeed in a school environment. Their Multi-age Occasional room provides a play based learning environment that caters to the developmental needs of each age group in the room. Siblings are able to stay together helping them to feel more secure in the environment. The children participate in a wide range of activities that help to develop their holistic self.
