Welcome to Nelum's Family Day Care

I am an Early Childhood Educator who started Family Day Care in 2002 and successfully completed Certificate III in Children Services with 21 years of service.

I always provide an environment that supports children's learning by providing flexibe spaces according to their interests and abilities. It encourages learning and how to discover, create, improvise and imagine.

My parnership with families and co-ordination unit is a strong foundation of understanding each other's expectations and attitudes. I value each other's knowledge, trust, communication as well as respect everyone and shared decision making to improve my service.

Exploring parks, libraries, playgroups and wetlands in the community are a part of my educational program. We honour and value each family's culture, language, tradition and lifestyle choices. Family Day care environment help to maintain small group of friendships within the children and families too.
