I done more than 10childcare tour, haven’t come across one that doesn’t allow you to enter the room. I couldn’t even observe/listen to any of the interaction btw the educators and the kids. Which make me super uncomfortable what approach/way/language are they using towards these young kids?! The reason is because they do not want us to distract the kids. I have done 2 Montessori CC (including 1 directly from Montessori) but also allow us to go into the room and explain the program to us. Another red flag is when you require to put a non-refundable $50 just to be on waiting list. Why would anyone do that, yet you can’t even hear/know how are the educators communicating to the kids? The kitchen close up and also tinted glass where you can really look or see the kitchen at all. Also I noted all the high review could be fake or due to a raffle tickets draw. The Google review doesn’t even match the NQS rating! The reason I choose to tour this CC because is Montessori and Chinese languages that they teach. But sadly such a bad management and system they have in this centre. People are not friendly and can come across as poor mannerism! They just get an admin staff to do the tour, yet they can’t even answer or point out what is the difference education program btw the classes. And yes the centre 90% are chinese, very impressive where make me feel that I am in China. Def. not a normal Australia childcare. More of a school and abit “military” style if the management itself are so not flexible! And just the tour or 1st impression already red flag! 🚩 Read more
