I had to report this daycare to the area manager who then had to report them to the board for negligence. They don’t keep up with incident reports. When I had my baby I had family do pick ups and drop offs and so Miranda (the director) told me they would call me about any incidents as well as give an incident report. I had 1 phone call. My daughter cut herself on glass in the fairy garden and when I told the director about it she tried to say my daughter could have only cut herself on a pebble. My daughter was almost 5 at the time and knows the difference between a pebble and some glass. Plus later that day my family member saw them sweeping through the pebbles looking for the glass. They had a phone that was broken in reach of the children for them to play with and when I mentioned it, again, was told it was cracked and chipped even though I had video and photo proof. They didn’t keep up with sunscreen or hats even when the sun rays were burning hot with a high rating. They would have teachers out of ratio with the amount of children in the room. They had family members and myself sign blank incident reports because they couldn’t be bothered filling it out before we got there. They would store deliveries in front of the fire hose. Used a book shelf on wheels when a gate was broken. And when asking on Storypark how long we’d all be staying, I answered that my daughter would stay until start of term 1. So that I could take her if I needed to do things or needed a break as I’m a single mum with a new baby, but they ceased care on the 28th of December without even telling me. The excuse was that Miranda doesn’t check Storypark. Then why ask on Storypark when she doesn’t check it or there’s no communication. My daughter has been to 3 daycares including this one. And this one is by far the worst she’s ever been to. Read more

My son recently started attending two days a week and I couldn’t be happier with the centre and the staff. He’s been able to form positive relationships with the staff which has also made it easier on the days he is there. The staff is very caring and I know my child in very good hands. Read more

I was terrified of putting my 3 yo daughter into day care once we are new to Australia and English is not our first language, how would she ask for food, toilet, water and I didn't even know where to start. And so I found out about Edge Early Learning Royal park, and we were amazed. It’s beautiful staff go above and beyond for all the children, providing educational experiences and meaningful relationships. My daughter had been at the centre for 3 months and she loves it! She never wants to leave and we have always been met with a warm and loving environment at the class. We are sad to have to leave Miss Mona and Miss Layla for another big change in our lives, Unfortunately my rating goes down a bit for the experience that I had with the change of new Director which didn't even bother to ask why we were leaving the centre and didn't let the Lead Educators know about our last week until I told them. Anyway, we are grateful to everyone, specially to Miss Mona and Miss Layla! Thank you so much for your attention with my baby. We will never forget. Read more
