Kids Capers Nambour is a special place for all children aged six weeks to six years old, with dedicated adaptable areas designed for age appropriate development. The space for younger children a sensory wonderland, designed specifically for babies up to three years. For the bigger kids the outdoor spaces are an adventurers delight, with lots of free space, gardens, vegetable patch, sandpit with room to roam, ride bikes and use imaginative play.
At Kids Capers we believe in educating the whole child, and work to develop our Centres and teams to ensure all children are supported and nurtured to grow and develop. We view all children as capable and resourceful learners and provide an inclusive supportive environment to assist in the development of their emerging autonomy.
We will offer an approved Kindergarten program that follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG). Our Kindergarten area features extensive outdoor play spaces that challenge and assist in building coordination and agility as well as encouraging children to play with others.
As a Centre we aim to receive an overall rating of ‘Exceeding the National Quality Standards’ and will strive to achieve this within the first 12 months of opening, therefore also aiming to exceed the expectations of the families who entrust their children into our care.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
