Welcome to Alexandria Montessori Academy!

Alexandria Montessori Academy delivers an outstanding Montessori Education Program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers aged six weeks to six years in a long day care format. The campus is open on weekdays from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is conveniently located at Building 2 in Goodman's Sydney Corporate Park at 160 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015. Access to the centre is also available from 75 O'Riordan Street, Alexandria. Our Alexandria child care centre has on-site parking and also offers a shuttle bus service to Central Station.

Montessori education stands apart from traditional childcare by prioritising personalised learning. In our Montessori Academy centres, each child's unique style, stage, and interests are catered to, fostering independence, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning. Montessori environments provide specially designed materials and guidance for hands-on, active learning, empowering children to discover their full potential. 

Our Alexandria child care centre offers three prepared classroom environments that are vibrant and well-resourced with the leading Montessori Materials available internationally. The Montessori Materials in each classroom are divided into five Curriculum Areas, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Culture.

What's unique about the Montessori Materials, is that each material is designed with a control of error, which leads children towards understanding through repetition and practice. As we say at Montessori Academy, practice makes permanent. Montessori Materials increase in difficulty as children progress through the Montessori Education Program. In this way, learning is child-centred, and tailored to the developmental needs and interests of each individual student.
