Programs
Mini Masterminds sees innovation as a driver for development in our Minis. The inclusive extra-curricular activities encourage diversity and inclusion, ensuring every Mini feels accepted as they play and learn.
Our Minis have access to the latest equipment to encourage creative free play and holistic development. All activities are included as part of the daily fee, including:
Sports Program: For our Minis aged 3 and up, the centre offers the ‘Mini Champions’ sports program. This encourages our Minis to gain fitness regardless of their athletic ability, and helps build self-esteem and confidence.
Language Program: Our Minis are taught languages from native speakers at the centre, further developing and strengthening their cognitive function, problem-solving skills and cultural awareness.
Cooking Program: Our Minis can take part in the ‘Mini Chefs’ cooking class, a fun hands-on class that encourages children to experiment in the kitchen while learning about basic cooking techniques and smart food choices. These classes teach kitchen safety, food preparation and proper food handling practices.
Yoga Program: Each week our Minis aged 2 and up take part in ‘Mini Yoga Club’ at the centre. This practice is associated with learning, memory and regulating emotions, and it helps children learn positivity and self-acceptance.
Regular Excursions: Our Minis can extend their learning outside of the centre by taking part in excursions. Some examples include the Easter Show and visiting local parks for a picnic day.
In-House Incursions: Special visitors to the centre can share a wealth of knowledge with our Minis, as they can learn, discover and explore new and exciting things. Some incursions include native wildlife and reptile visits, petting zoos, dentists visits and cultural exploration with visits from Indigenous artists.

Parent communication and involvement
Parent communication and involvement
As a family-owned and operated centre, Mini Masterminds builds strong connections with our families and the wider community.
By taking a collaborative approach with parents and the community, the centre encourages diversity and inclusion. This ensures that every Mini feels accepted and part of the Mini Masterminds ‘family’.
Parent feedback helps inform programs, which aim to build confident, independent and active learners. The centre invites families to drop in and speak to educators. Families also participate in special events and cultural celebrations throughout the year.
About the curriculum
About the curriculum
In addition to the National Curriculum, Mini Masterminds is proud to have developed a bespoke Curriculum in consultation with well-regarded Early Childhood Teacher, Jacob Camilleri.
Central to this is a unique Prep School Program which exposes children to the NSW Foundation Font. It also focuses not just on the Early Years Framework but also the Early Stage 1 Curriculum. By merging the Prep School and Kindergarten lessons, our Minis will have a head start when it comes to their formal schooling.
The focus of the Curriculum is on play-based learning, which ensures each Mini develops, understands and takes responsibility at their own pace. The centre does away with the dated early learning methods of set lesson plans. Instead, it embraces individuality, personal growth and current abilities, allowing each Mini to comfortably develop in a warm, secure and supportive environment.
The centre’s programs allow for our Minis to move freely around the activities, making their own unique choices, while ensuring that all key learning areas are promoted and explored. The overall aim of the curriculum is to develop our Mini's independence, while fostering confidence in communication and learning.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this centre, as they accepted my niece and everything was great, until they found out that she had autism and they then decided that they would take back her application and denied her to attend this centre. the way this centre has discriminated a 3 year old girl and denied her this opportunity because of her autism is highly unprofessional. in 2025 you'd expect better from daycare centres. Hi Ashley, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We want to assure you that Mini Masterminds is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all children, including those with autism and additional needs. At the time of this application, our centre was undergoing staffing changes, and we were temporarily relying on casual educators. Our priority is always to ensure that every child receives the highest quality of care and support. Given the circumstances at that time, we made the difficult decision to pause new enrolments for children with additional needs until the transitional period was complete and we could provide the stable and structured environment they deserve. Since then, we have strengthened our team with permanent staff and established a more consistent routine, allowing us to better support all children. We truly value the trust families place in us and would love the opportunity to welcome the parent's or guardians for a tour to discuss how we can best meet your niece's needs. Please feel free to contact us at (02) 8526 6443 or email mp@minimasterminds.com.au—our Centre Director would be happy to speak with you or the child's parent if you are still interested in care. Kind regards, Mini Masterminds Macquarie Park

After trying a few other centres in the location, Mini Mastermind Macquarie Park worked really well for us ! My son was in the preschool room and the educators Ms Cindy and Mr Jason were more than fantastic ! The centre director Jenny took feedback really well and has been solutions oriented and extremely professional since she started! Chef Wintar provided the yummiest and most wholesome, healthy meals for the kids. He was always extremely friendly and approachable! Updates on meals and activities during the day were regular and the staff were always prompt in answering queries on the phone or on email. Special shout out to Ms Rav, Ms Tahlia, Ms April, Coach Jake, Coach Arnold and the many other educators at the centre who worked tirelessly to make our kids feel special and loved on regular days as well as during occasions.
