While parked opposite the YMCA daycare in Holt, I witnessed a staff member with shoulder-length red hair yelling and using physical force towards a small child. The child, under 3 years old, was being punished for being in an area that was not blocked off even knowing there were other kids in the area. This behavior from the staff member is unacceptable and concerning. If your kid attends this day care, please be warned as I believe the physical force was way more than it should have been. It's pretty awful to see a child cry for a piece of fruit because Center director refused with "No More". I have seen my child crying after center director and her staff refuse to provide piece of fruit. Formal complaint was made to Jessica Smith (YMCA Head Office in Canberra) but nothing has changed. We ended up enrolling our child to other center. I can see a big difference comparing this center with another center and how they treat a child.Another thing I have noticed here is all bad reviews on this business page are disappearing while only good reviews remain.
