Guardian Childcare & Education Macquarie Park Centre overview
Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Macquarie Park!
Guardian Childcare & Education Macquarie Park caters for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The educators run learning programs targeted at the children's individual needs, encouraging them to explore and learn to support their growth and development in the early years.
The light-filled indoor space displays the children's artwork on the walls and has a range of age-specific toys and activities. An art studio filled with arts and crafts, building blocks, books and a family play area all help to develop the children's creativity and social development.
The inviting, colourful outdoor space backs onto a leafy reserve for the children to run and play in the safe space. The outdoor areas have been designed to suit the different age groups and are filled with interesting and exciting age-appropriate toys and activities. The children can play on the wooden pallet climbing frames or tend to the vegetable gardens.
The centre is conveniently located and only a four-minute walk to Talavera Road bus stops and a7-minute walk to Macquarie Centre. Designated zones for drop off and pick up ensure safety and efficiency at these busy times of the day. Why not book a tour of this supportive and caring centre today?

Programs
Programs
The centre programs revolve around the interests and skills of the children. The educators take a personalised approach to get to know each child, their needs and what interests them most. They then tailor the program to match.
With a mix of structured and unstructured play, the educators embed important foundational learning and skills throughout the day. What may seem like fun and play to the children or even to an outside observer, the educators carefully plan activities with real learning benefits. Whether it’s counting the chairs to put out at lunch or practising social skills through dress up play, the children are always growing, learning and developing.
Community is also a strong focus in the program. The educators make the most of their community connections to plan engaging incursions and excursions for the children to enjoy. This enhances their sense of belonging as they develop an understanding of the world around them.
Meet the team
Meet the team
The team at the centre is made up of a mix of accredited Teachers, experienced Lead Educators and passionate Educational Leaders. No matter the role they play in the team, each and every person is dedicated to nurturing and supporting the children in their care.
Unique to Guardian Childcare & Education is the role of Baby Ambassador. It is the Baby Ambassador’s role to get to know the youngest children at the centre and ensure their needs are met each and every day. They also liaise with the families to give added peace of mind that their baby is happy and well during the day.
The team is the heart of the centre. Each member is valued for the individual skills they bring to the team and the contribution they make. For this reason, staff turnover is low ensuring a consistent experience for the children.
Parent communication and involvement
Parent communication and involvement
At Guardian Childcare & Education, parents are invited to be directly involved in their children’s time at the centre. Parents can join their children for breakfast when they drop them off or come in at other times to share meals. They are also invited to join the children on excursions or at other events.
In the centre, parents will find Visible Learning Displays. This helps to track the children’s progress and provides a connection point to spark conversations between parents and educators. Parents and educators also use the StoryPark app for communication with the educators providing regular updates via this platform.

We have moved to Macquarie Park 2 weeks ago & we were looking for a new day care, people we can trust to look after our children. And the reason why I chose this childcare is because of Isabella. From day 1 I had a good experience & ever since she made sure that our kids were look after. Without having to ask her, she organised for our son to get the special support he needs. She is always accommodating to whatever our needs are. Our kids are happy & so are we. Thank you Isabella! Read more
