About Great Beginnings Kariong Long Daycare and Preschool

Welcome to Great Beginnings Kariong. We're ideally located for families in Kariong, Mangrove Mountain, Narara, Phegans Bay, Point Clare, Tascott, Umina Beach and Wyoming.

Our Long Daycare and Preschool Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

At Great Beginnings, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.

Our dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.

Getting school ready? We offer the 3 and 4-year-old Government-approved Preschool program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.

We offer a great variety of learning experiences at Great Beginnings Kariong including:

- Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.

- Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.

- Real Life Experiences: Children participate in fun and exciting experiences such as harvesting the veggie garden, caring for our farm animals and early cooking skills.

^Terms & Conditions: The 20% discount will be applied against the centre’s gross daily fee (at the time of the booking occurring) and applies on all eligible permanent bookings each week (excluding casual bookings) for a period of four weeks (first four weeks after start date). Discount available to new families only who enrol and start in centre between 14-28th February 2025. A current and signed Complying Written Agreement (CWA) (or other relevant government enrolment) is required in order for the discount to be applied and G8 Education reserves the right to remove any discounts in place where a current and signed CWA or government enrolment is not in place. The 20% discount may not be applied in conjunction with any other discount and will not be applied where accounts are not paid up to date and one week in advance as required by G8 Education’s Centre Fee Policy. New families only are eligible for this promotion. G8 Education reserves the right to remove or change any applicable discount at any time upon notice.

Our Preschool program will support your child’s learning, development, and well-being for now, at school and beyond. We tailor our Preschool program across:
