As a new parent, your greatest fear is letting your child in the care of others hands. At Journey Early Learning in Nightcliff, Thushari and the team could not have made the transition into daycare for both my daughter and I any more comfortable, secure, happy, safe and smooth. It is so hard to say goodbye to your child every single day whilst you have to go off to work, but when I see my daughters face light up when she sees her educators and friends, and at 18 months old hi-fives the chef on the way in, there is no greater feeling than knowing she feels safe, secure and happy in her environment. And that is all thanks to the highly dedicated, family oriented, kind and caring Journey team. Thushari who is the centre director, directs this place in a way like I imagine, no other. Her dedication and commitment to the business is undeniably unmatched. But more than anything, to see her direct in a way where the children ALWAYS come first and how she goes above and beyond to make you as a parent feel so comfortable, welcomed and happy, is so greatly appreciated and more than you could ask for. The family feel you get when all the directors, managers, chef and even educators from rooms your child isn’t even in, know your child by name and things they have done during the day and little milestones they reach, is truely so so beautiful.
