Tyndale Early Learning Centre
Tyndale Early Learning Centre overview
Welcome to Tyndale Pre-School.
The Pre-School program focus is on independent learning and social skills with a specific emphasis on play-based learning. Pre-School is available to children who have reached 3 years of age.
Tyndale Prep is a school readiness program designed to provide young children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in learning. Prep caters for all children who turn 4 years of age by 31st July and therefore are eligible to commence Kindergarten in the following year.
Children at Tyndale learn about themselves and the world in the light of a biblically-founded understanding of humanity. While Tyndale understands the importance of the child’s belonging to family, culture, neighbourhood and the wider community, each child belongs primarily to the Creator, God, and has the responsibility and authority to bring glory to Him.
Each child is a unique being, made in God’s image, blessed with personality, imagination and talents, called to respond to God in love and service. There is tremendous, lifelong excitement and challenge in unwrapping the truth of God’s purposes for the world and His people.
Tyndale recognises and values the sound educational theory and practice underpinning the Early Years Learning Framework, an Australian Government mandated program for delivering learning experiences for children 0-5 years.
Both Pre-School and Prep use the school’s Biblically informed world view to interpret and implement the Framework, and has recently been assessed by the NSW Department of Education and received a rating of ‘Meeting the National Quality Standard.’
The programs are developed with a specific emphasis on play-based learning and recognises the importance of communication and language skills, as well as the social and emotional development of the child.
In order to engage children actively in learning, educators identify children’s strengths and interests, choose appropriate teaching strategies and design the learning environment to enable children to explore and make connections between prior experiences and new learning opportunities.
Tyndale Early Learning Centre values the role of families as the children’s first and most influential educators. Children thrive when families and educators work together in partnership to support young children’s learning.

I used to attend Tyndale from Kindy up to Grade 8 until I moved to a practically remote location in Central Queensland around 3 years ago. I used to complain about Tyndale a lot, pretty much half the time I attended - about the education, the teachers, the racism, how oppressed POC (people of colour) are there, and just anything I could find to complain about. And then I moved to a public school in the middle of nowhere, where half the kids are white, and let’s just say the etiquette, or lack thereof, was…questionable. I remember sitting in my new class wondering why I was doing grade 6 and 7 math halfway through grade 8. In my three years of schooling at this public school, I look back and realise how much I had and how much of it I complained about. Also looking back, I wonder how easily I would’ve been swayed by the large percentage of kids at my school who are into drugs, alcohol, fornication, open mockery of religions (especially Christianity), extreme bullying, physical fights every week and all that jazz, were it not for the teachers who not only provided top education for young kids, but aided in building that foundation for knowing Jesus, so that hopefully, one day, they would build their life on Jesus our Rock. Sure, going to a public school means no strict uniform policies and wear whatever you want, but that alone falls pale in comparison to the education, teachers, facilities, resources, morals, ethics, and principles that Tyndale strives to give each student. By the way, when I say facilities, I mean it - talk about kids smashing up the toilets every term because they know the government will just pay for it, and having the whole school stuck using portable toilets until next year - yes, best believe you better give God glory for your toilets. Also, to be clear, by no means am I undermining or overlooking any potential racism or bullying that could be going on at Tyndale as these are serious issues that should be handled to the highest degree of discipline (if you really value people). I’m just saying…you may not realise how good you have it and how much there is to be grateful for. Complacency counteracts gratitude though, and I know for sure, if you spend your time complaining, you’ll most likely spend more time regretting what you complained about. So give God glory, he deserves it ALWAYS. And be grateful. ALSO, I’m not complaining about my public school cos I’m gonna see a victory, my Jesus saving kids left and right! If I can preach the gospel at a school where half the people hate, don’t believe or oppose anything to do with God, then you, who goes to a Christian school can preach the gospel too - because God knows, not everybody who says their Christian is really Christian. That’s coming from me, who if you knew me at Tyndale would say I’m a Christian and act mighty Holy, and who had a lot of head knowledge about Jesus, yet acted the complete opposite (like someone saying they’re vegan yet eats meat) and never knew Him personally, but He radically changed that last year when I was in the deepest hole of depression and anxiety, and filled with suicidal thoughts, BUT one day I cried out and He encountered me, and I’ve never been the same! No depression, no anxiety, not suicidal, completely set free by Jesus!! I’m telling you, it’s not just a Christian school proclaiming a historical, religious figure from over 2000 years ago BUT Jesus is relationship and you can know Him personally, straight up, just read the Bible for yourself and you’ll discover Him. Just like when you’re trying to make friends with someone and you want to know them, you don’t ask that someone’s friends to tell you all about them, instead you ask that someone directly, right? If you’re struggling to know if God exists or you’re going through it, I dare you, call upon Jesus and I promise you, not only will He answer you, but He’ll change your life! If He did it for me, He’ll do it for you! Guh-lor-ray…that’s my review turned testimony. Good job if you made it this far. Read more
