As an early childhood teacher working for an agency I travel around Brisbane going to many centres. Today was such a lovely day working at Edge Zillmere and the amazing team they have. The spaces are lovely and well set with plenty of resources, the staff listen to the children and respond with warmth plus the staff go above and beyond when it came to cleanliness and all the other mundane jobs on top of everything they already do. To be honest it’s hard to find centres that have a healthy culture and have the passion the staff here at Zillmere. The families who I met in the afternoon were so kind to someone they’ve never met and thankful which again is a testament to the culture of the service and respect for all who work there. We have absolutely loved our experience at Edge Early Learning Zillmere with Centre Director Sharlene at the helm. As new parents, we were naturally anxious about leaving our children in the care of others for the first time, but Sharlene and her team put us at ease from the very first visit. The centre is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the staff are kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The facilities and equipment are top-notch and the daily educational activities are thoughtfully planned and fun! Our children have thrived in their care. My husband and I are consistently impressed by the activities and experiences they get to do. The daily updates and photos give me peace of mind while I'm at work and we always look forward to getting the notifications. We are grateful for the attention and care that our children receive at Edge and are confident that any child would flourish under the guidance of Sharlene and her team at Edge Early Learning Zillmere.
