Meet the team

Meet the team
Our team is a wonderful blend of early childhood teachers, lead educators, and passionate educators, including our beloved Cindy, who has been caring for children whose parents she taught 20 years ago! With a deep love for what they do, our educators create a nurturing and fun-filled environment where every child feels valued.
Our multilingual educators also introduce children to songs and words in Greek and Indian languages, fostering diversity and inclusion. These engaging lessons offer a fun and interactive way for children to connect with different cultures and broaden their horizons.
Families often share their appreciation for the close bonds, comfort, and care their children receive. These meaningful connections provide the security children need to confidently explore, learn, and grow.
Health and Nutrition
Health and Nutrition
We prioritise healthy eating and nutrition, with our in-house chef preparing delicious and nutritious meals like Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sausage Rolls, and Lasagne.
These yummy meals support healthy growth and encourage a positive relationship with food. Our chef also hosts interactive cooking lessons, where children learn about food preparation and nutrition in a fun, hands-on way, helping them develop healthy habits and life skills.

My child was in the nursery room for nearly 10 months. Since being at a new daycare I now realise how poorly run Storyhouse is and how much better off my child now is. I felt my child was missing out on a lot of growth opportunities being in a room with babies as the room went from 6 weeks - 2 years. They sold me the world on the tour but it didn't live up to expectations. I was told they had indoor/outdoor play and the door was always open - that is absolutely not the case and they are rarely outside. I felt the teachers never respected and listened to the parents requests in particular with sleep routines which meant my child was not sleeping properly - now with a new centre following a routine she's sleeping longer than she ever was at Storyhouse and on time. We rarely got updates on the children and what they were doing. Limited photos were provided of our child and most were blurry or poor photos. Just for the orientation at the new centre we got photos/updates that same day, and then it's weekly if not twice a week at the new centre without any delays. We ever get magic moments when our child does something great. Storyhouse employees continuously lose your child's items such as clothes, dummies, etc. Or we constantly had items that weren't theirs in their bags. They were giving my child some random child's dummy saying it was my child's even when I told them numerous times it wasn't. Really disgusting. Aimee the 2IC is very cold and rude and I've heard that from quite a few people which is disappointing. I wouldn't want her anywhere near my child again. When I put in a complaint, I will say that Kelly the service manager handled it professionally and I did honestly feel heard but I just felt it was too late and we couldn't come back from all the issues. On grandparents day my mum had to tell a teacher who was standing in the corner on her phone that a young baby/toddler had numerous seeds in their mouth and could choke. They just weren't paying attention. I've also seen a kid fall off a shelf and land awkwardly on their arm and the teacher picked the kid up from the arm only that they landed awkwardly on. I have spoken to many people who work in childcare and they have said what I was experiencing is not okay. Since moving my child they have stopped crying at every drop off and they walk in so confident, they sleep better, their behaviour at home has improved, they have learnt their colours and are doing way more arts & craft, and we as parents are less stressed about sending our child. I will say there were a couple of good teachers that I felt genuinely cared about my child, but unfortunately 2 good teachers can't resolve everything. Each to their own, but I wouldn't recommend Storyhouse if you have another option. Also I wouldn't trust a lot of these reviews as there was a hamper up for grabs for those that left a review (and we all know they weren't going to give any bad feedback if they wanted the hamper). Kelly has been super welcoming to our family while Priyanka has already formed a great relationship with my daughter. Can not fault this place so far. Sooo happy. Read more
