Our journey began in 1998 when our founder, a dedicated mother and educator, embarked on a quest to find exceptional childcare in Ermington. Disappointed by the options available, she decided to take matters into her own hands and founded Future Stars Early Learning. This wasn't just a business venture; it was a passion project driven by a desire to provide more than just standard childcare.

Fast forward to 2021, and Future Stars evolved into Being Early Education. Our transformation wasn't merely a change in name; it was a reflection of our commitment to excellence and innovation in early education. Influenced by ontology, philosophy, and the latest research, our programs are designed to empower young minds and nurture them into Powerful Humans.

What’s included at Being Ermington River Road Childcare?

Your child can expect a stimulating yet comfortable environment here in Being Ermington River Road. There will be physical education, gardening, meals served onsite, nap time and other daily activities that you can monitor on our mobile apps, Xplor and StoryPark. 

They will also enjoy occasional excursions in line with activities organised by the local community centre.

Additionally, under our “Alacrity” educational program, your child will learn from an evolving curriculum with milestone markers and new goals set every six months.

Some of the areas we cover during class time include:
- Social-emotional skills

- Pre-writing

- Fundamental movements
- Intro to STEAM subjects 
- Music, arts and drama
- Second and third languages
- Community connection

In line with our culture, we will also teach your child about freedom, power, responsibility and the importance of curiosity about the world. We believe that every child deserves a safe and loving environment in which to learn.

Within weeks we began to notice the difference in the quality of education and care our daughter received at Being. Her social and emotional skills improved significantly. She has also developed  skills in pre-reading and pre-writing through planned activities throughout the day. The educators are great intentional teachers.

I could not ask for a better centre
I am extremely confident sending my children to Being Ermington. Knowing that each day they are greeted with a smiley face at the door, served a healthy breakfast and then the fun activities start! The educators set goals every 2 months with parents and we all work towards the same goal for our children, it's very effective in making sure their developmental milestones are achieved. My children love spending their days here.
