The staff go above and beyond every day to ensure the children are appropriately stimulated, challenged, supported, and most importantly, loved. The staff are focused on each of the children and encourage their individual learning needs. My daughter loves her teachers and is excited to go to daycare to see them… and, on the days she is a little more apprehensive to leave mum or dad, her teachers show her extra warmth, affection and reassurance until she is comfortable. I am so relieved and confident to leave my girl with such a loving team. The same can be said for the wider team at CPELC, everyone knows what is going on, is proactive to help, takes the time to know your child (when they have nothing to do with them, which blows my mind because there are so many kids), and is genuinely friendly, kind, and caring. Not to mention the time and effort they put into extra events like Mother’s Day, art exhibition gallery nights, and so much more!!! Oh, and the nature play on the creek, the baking cookies, having BBQs etc… they do so much cool stuff with the kids - I am excited for the daily updates to see what fun things my daughter has done. Honestly, I could rave about how great this place is for days!! Read more

My son started here in January 2024 and whilst getting a spot was difficult, that's just because the centre is amazing! From the moment we were accepted to go on a tour, we have felt an overwhelming sense of belonging. The quality of the care the kids are provided, by far, out shines any other centres we have been involved with over the years and the activities are fun, connect back to nature and there is always a heap of different activities going on to engage all the kids interests through the day. There is dirt, there is sand, there is paint and they play in it all! They're allowed to be kids and the teachers make it a blast! I love that the day is started with an acknowledgement to country song, I think it's important in the society they are growing up in and will hopefully help with advocating for a stronger sense of awareness and respect for our aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities into the future. I love that the kids go on little adventures to the creek on low tide and the kids are learning water safety by the creek, while being heavily guarded! No, they dont swim! I think it is an important lesson for them in the part of the world we live in. The meals are healthy and cater to all and the routine and meals offered have definitely helped my picky eater to explore other foods he would have other wise turned his nose up at for me. My absolute favourite part is walking in to drop my boy off or pick him up and every teacher there knows his name, they are all so welcoming, warm, friendly and forthcoming to conversations. They seem to be a genuinely happy little community. I've experienced one of the teachers (not knowing I was there) shouting across to other teachers excitedly about an achievement one of the children had just made - it was genuine excitement and joy! I love that they have Ken on-site doing the handyman jobs around the place (he adds that real blokey touch!), showing off the tools to the kids and he honestly loves to engage with the kids. My boy loves the high fives and watching the blower Every morning I drop my son off, there has not been any tears past the first day. I get a VERY enthusiastic 'BYE, BYE! MWAH!' from the playground as I leave. It gives me such a sense of trust in the centre and pride that he feels so excited and comfortable to be there. My school aged daughter never seems to want to leave either! The centre seem to treat the staff very well and they spoil the families with different events that they really put alot of love and effort into - they put on an epic mothers day spread too! I've seen the centre card be put down on the coffee van for an expected huge day for the staff - I love that! The management and admin teams have all been amazing to deal with, and we've had nothing but support from them since the first day. I would love to say we have a favourite teacher and give them a shout out, but we can't. We love them all and I would hate to leave anyone out! 😉 The centre, in my opinion, is well above the Excellence level they have been titled If you are lucky enough to be offered a position and are sitting on the fence, just know your expectations would be well exceeded and you'll quickly fall head over heels in love with the centre. Keep up the amazing work you do CPELC! Thankyou! Read more

The centre has grown from strength to strength over those years, with embedded programs such as Nature Education and a beautiful art space. Our Kindergarten class has the tranquil Currumbin Creek as their back yard, coupled with the beautiful big gum trees they play under, it's got to be the best spot to be spending their days. The centre focuses on child first, play based learning, with open ended resources, loose parts play, nature play, and a big emphasis on creativity and individuality. Over the years many of our educators have had children of their own and are eager to join the waitlist and have their little ones join the CPELC Family. Read more
