Learn Smart WAS a great place for your child for a long time. However, As much as Sharon and the class teachers try (and they are wonderful) they can't make up for one HUGE problem. The center manager. When my child come home complaining that a child was hitting, kicking and pinching her, I was concerned. Then she started to be too afraid to go to kinder. Worried a child in her class had anger problems, and it was on going, I spoke to the teacher and then to the center manager, who said she 'couldn't find the child', and so nothing would be done also the 'teachers didnt see anything'. It took MY daughter to point out it was the CENTER MANAGERS SON! which the center manager had known ever since he pushed my daughter face first into a bookshelf and they had to fill out a report, that was 'lost'. Couple this with blatant lying, refusal to put any measures in place, like a class on why we don't hit our friends, (talking to the parent when I thought it was just another child) and separating the children. All of which I was made to feel I was being unreasonable about Only to find out they are STANDARD in every other center. Find another center for your child, lots of other options in the same price bracket, and vacancies. Sharon is brilliant but she can't make up for terrible leadership. We moved our child and now she is no longer afraid to go to Kinder. Learn Smart was much more interested in that she had to do the last day with them and that we had to give 2 weeks notice, rather then fixing the problem. As we left for the last day, I watched the child in question hit another child with force in the stomach. Good to know, nothing was done.
