A Little Bit about Me
My name is Margot Ramsay and I have been a Family Day Care Educator since 2012. Having a Diploma in Childcare and regularly attend workshops and professional development in the childcare industry. I find this a rewarding job when children play, learn and grasp new concepts, its a fantastic moment to enjoy.
My Philosophy
Margot’s Family Day Care acknowledges the Yamatji mob as the traditional owners of the land in which we meet, we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, while doing our best to embed their culture into our daily practises.
Margot offers your child a nurturing haven to thrive and unlock their full potential.
Children are entitled to their opinions and rights, Margot provides a platform for these to be heard, known and exercised.
Margot strongly advocates for children to boost and develop their talents adn abilities, instilling a passion for the arts, while also prioritising the protection of nature and fostering respect for others.
Margot endeavours to do what is best for your child, professionally striving for innovation and creativity, nurturing and caring, honesty and touches of extravagance.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
