Educating Kids ELC Domain understands that children want to play outside no matter the weather, so this child care centre in Garbutt has a unique indoor/outdoor play space that suits the Townsville climate.

The children love the bike tracks, ball pits, obstacle courses, play forts, rock gardens, sandpits, trampolines and more. Parents love the extended hours from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm, and that the centre is open 52 weeks of the year. 

Inside, the centre is fresh, colourful and vibrant, with a convenient location in the Domain Central shopping complex. The bilingual educators care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years in a home-like environment.

• Excursions: the children are taken on excursions within the local community to places like the pet store, Bunnings, or the post office. 

• Incursions: the children enjoy experiences within the centre, by visitors such as hands-on wildlife, life education, as well as Torres Strait Islander dancers.

• Fitness program: the centre has a Kids Fit program, with a local personal trainer from 5 Star Fitness conducting a personalised fitness class for the children.

• Cooking: the children enjoy regular cooking experiences with educators in their rooms, teaching them about healthy eating and fine motor skills.
