Hi, I’m Mandy!

I am a dedicated Early Years Learning Educator with 26 years of experience, holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have a deep passion for supporting individuals in learning, growth, and independence. My approach focuses on fostering choice and control, empowering individuals to make decisions that shape their own experiences. I believe in the importance of inclusion, ensuring that every person feels valued, heard, and supported in achieving their goals.

Effective and positive communication is at the heart of my work. I take the time to listen, understand, and adapt my approach to meet individual needs, creating meaningful connections based on trust and respect. Whether through verbal or non-verbal communication, I strive to ensure that each person I support feels confident in expressing themselves and making informed choices.

Beyond my professional background, I am an avid traveller who loves exploring different cultures and perspectives. This has strengthened my appreciation for diversity and the importance of community immersion. I also have a deep love for animals and the comfort and joy they bring to people’s lives.

I am committed to fostering independence and supporting individuals in living fulfilling lives within their communities. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment where each person can thrive, develop new skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
