Both my boys have attend Explorer's Early Learning Croydon for over two years now and we love it! The facilities are immaculate and I love how the spaces are set up to encourage play and learning. All the staff are caring and professional and willing to go that extra step to ensure that your child feels welcome and supported. They also somehow manage to convince my kids to eat these amazing healthy lunches, so that's an extra bonus too! I would highly recommend this centre. Read more

The educators (in-room) staff were consistently fantastic, as were the general facilities - however the management team that came in ~a year ago... The educators (in-room) staff were consistently fantastic, as were the general facilities - however the management team that came in ~a year ago have been a frustrating disappointment, even when concerns were voiced & feedback given (as far as head office) on multiple occasions. The team within the rooms were wonderful, however it was clear as day that management did next to nothing to support them - and instead apply pressure and unrealistic expectations. It's no wonder that the staff turnover has been so high since this management had come in. Aside from the inconsistency & inadequacy of my childs' care (due to lack of in-room support provided by management), what prompted us to take our child out was the few-too-many occasions where we'd be required to sign forms for inexplicable injuries. Considering the requirement is a 1-to-4 care ratio, it was frustrating to often walk in and see too-few educators surrounded by 6-8 kids. We are very happy at our new care center, with a wealth of educators (bordering on 1-to-2/3 ratio), great facilities, genuinely happy staff and considerably more activities and development opportunities for my child. It's a shame that management is seen as a role that anyone can do.. when in reality that is far from the case. Read more
