We especially appreciate the class sizes, engaging activities, and the focus on outdoor play. Plus, they provide healthy meals, which is a huge bonus! The facility is consistently clean. The meals provided are healthy and fresh due to an on-site chef. Some of the educators take the time at pickup to share details about your child's day fostering a sense of connection and rapport. I also appreciate the thoroughness of the director during the tour; unlike many centres that tend to overlook important details and push for enrollment, she maintained a non-pushy approach that I found refreshing. On the downside, one concern I have is communication needs improvement. Be prepared to repeat your child's routine, needs, and other important information multiple times to different staff members every time you come in. Despite repeated communications, details often don't reach the right people or are simply overlooked. Additionally, the director is frequently unavailable / away / or not at the front desk, and with no receptionist to cover for her this creates security concerns as any parent can grant entry to others without any oversight and anything can happen. A lot of the time the educators answer the phone and take on parts of her role. On my child's first day, (a couple of weeks later after enrolment) another parent had to let me in, as I still hadn’t received an entry door code. It wasn’t until the second week after starting I had to formally request this to be set up. However, by the fourth week, I still had not been set up for the self-check-in tablet which was supposed to be used and was apparently mandatory. The staff also hadn’t adhered to my child's sleep routine or any other standard requirements, and I felt like I was consistently complaining each time I visited. On one occasion, when I went to pick my child up, I found her alone at a table, crying very loudly and uncontrollably, completely red-faced, unattended / ignored. When I inquired about the situation, I was told she felt overwhelmed by the other kids and had been placed there to eat, but no food was present, and no one was even eating. Ultimately, I reached my breaking point, and decided to leave the centre. Leaving the centre was also a headache, while I was assured my account was closed, I had to formally contact Centrelink myself and have my account and Centrepay closed as that was not completed and the centre was still trying to charge me well after I had left. I was saddened to see the rumours are true that this centre has significantly declined since the departure of its former director, Jane. Despite receiving multiple warnings from other parents about the poor management under the new director, I decided to give it a chance and now regret that decision. If you are considering this centre, I advise proceeding with caution. UPDATE: After posting my review, the director contacted me, upset about its timing. She dismissed my concerns and any safety concerns regarding her absence at the front desk, insisting I shouldn't worry about parents letting me in, as "everyone knows everyone" and they can be trusted. However, like most, I don't know any parents… The director avoided addressing my complaints and instead praised the educators. Weeks later, I received a statement with unexplained charges, and after inquiring, I received four different inconsistent reasons for these fees, with no resolution or payment instructions. Dealing with her has been VERY frustrating; when I mentioned I had been contacting Centrelink about the issues, she accused me of lying and said they couldn't help because they lacked access to the information. A month and a half later — we STILL have no resolution to these apparent charges. Read more
Hi Nadia, We are saddened by your review, though thank you for recognising the hard work we do to always have our Service professionally presented and welcoming. Having attended the Service for care five times across four weeks, as the team discussed with you each time, your child struggled to feel at home with us. We don't recommend one day a week care as it tends to be difficult for the children, no matter how hard the Educators work to create strong relatinships. The Director was in very regular contact with you during this period and you have previously praised the efforts of the Educators who cared for your child and their strong consistent communication. When the Director isn't at the front desk, she is working directly with children, Educators and families and that is central to the role in delivering quality care. In general, CentrePay would only continue to attempt transactions if there were money left owning on the account. Nadia, we're sorry we couldn't meet your needs however we wish you and your family well, into the future.

The staff are exceptional at providing supportive environment where children thrive and feel at home the service has a heart-warming feeling that's makes you feel at home as you enter we love miss dani and miss Chole's positivity each morning and The extra assistance sarshar puts in to ensure we feel at ease when dropping our little girl off to kindy each day Read more
