They take care of the overall development of the child from food habits to reading, writing, colouring and encouraging movement through games and dance. My son attended for 2 years and I have seen so many developmental changes in him which are remarkable. The staff really takes care of the children and Darshana and Jignesh always make an extra effort to keep improving the centre and celebrating all festivals and occasions. Very thankful to the team at Stepping Stones for all they do. Read more

We enrolled my kid, in January 2023, and he has flourished in their care ever since. The staff is exceptionally caring and attentive, providing a nurturing environment where my kid feels safe and valued. The educators are highly professional and have created a curriculum that helps him develop both academically and socially. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and designed to encourage learning and creativity. We also appreciate the communication from the staff, always keeping us informed about my kids progress and activities. Stepping stones is like a second home to my kid. We are very grateful for the support and care they provide. Highly recommended! Read more

Well let me give you a look into the inside of the amount of torture they do to people who train in their childcare. I know a person who went to train in this horrid place as they needed a job. What they saw was disgusting. The person told me that the amount of money they take from people is absolutely outrageous and the food that they give to the children. Don't even get me started on the way they feed the children in the day care. What happens is that the food that the childcare gets, lets say bananas and apples in this case, the educators cut these fruits into pieces and give only around 1 slice of banana and 1 slice of apple and keep the rest for themselves. Even if a kid asks for more, they say it is finished and send them away on an empty stomach. If that was not enough, they give the kids unripe fruits which might upset their stomachs. Whenever a trainee wants to get one of their documents signed, they will sign it and then later question it. If you question any of the supervisor's decisions, they will almost completely say no to signing your documents. At 12 noon, the educators are supposed to get breaks for half an hour with their phones, but the childcare does not even allow that as they just say that if you want your phone, then deduct half an hour from your shift. The work that the educators make the trainee's do is also unacceptable. Even though the trainee is only there to train, the higher position educators make them wash the dishes, make the beds, take out the rubbish and more. Even if you say that the trainee can do that for their room, the higher educators make them do the bed work for their rooms too. If that does not convince you that this childcare is disgusting, then I don't know what will. I hate to see this person come back every single time from this childcare to home and they are crying whenever they come back. I wish someone could do something about this or atleast discipline or change their staff and what they do. Read more
Thank you for sharing the concerns of your acquaintance through the Google review. We take all feedback seriously, irrespective of positive or negative. We are committed to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for both the children in our care and the educators who work with us. We take great pride in our team and consider them an integral part of our family. We’d like to clarify that the individual you mentioned is not employed as a trainee with us. She is a student completing a vocational placement as part of her course requirements and had chosen our childcare centre to fulfill her course requirements. As part of her placement with us, it is our responsibility to ensure that she fulfills the required number of hours, completes the assigned observations, and participates in various daily duties alongside our educators. This hands-on experience is designed to help students transition from the classroom to the workforce and gain industry knowledge, which we hope will help them secure future employment. We have helped so far 30+ students in completing their vocational placement and achieving their dreams. We understand that transitioning from a classroom setting to real-world experience can sometimes be overwhelming, and we acknowledge that frustration can arise. Unfortunately, in this case, the frustration seems to have led to false accusations regarding the care provided to children at our Centre and we highly object to this, as it's not just false accusations but misleading information. After investigating her claim about not getting documents signed, we found that her request to conduct observations on children was denied because it lacked prior written parental consent. We value each parent's opinion and respect their views on whether to allow their child to participate in the observation or not. We are addressing this matter along with other matters directly with the relevant RTO. It seems that when her request was refused, she expressed her frustration in a way that led to inaccurate allegations about meals and care practices at our Centre. We take these concerns seriously, and would be happy to discuss this further if you or the individual involved would like to reach out to us directly. Once again, we appreciate your feedback, and we remain dedicated to continuous improvement to ensure the best experience for both our educators and the families we serve.
