Tinning Street Child Care Centre

My child has been going to the Tinning Street centre for two years now. I initially picked this centre because of its Excellent... My child has been going to the Tinning Street centre for two years now. I initially picked this centre because of its Excellent rating from the Department of Education and I have been really happy with the excellent quality care that we've received. (We're also so relieved that the non-stop sickness that we experienced at the centre we previously attended has stopped! Obviously health and hygiene practices are so much better here than at our last centre). Because its a community based centre, the management is really responsive, profits obviously get reinvested in the quality of the program (high quality staff, excursions, incursions), and the sense of community with other families at the centre is really nice. Unlike the previous centre we attended, Tinning Street has really experienced staff and low turnover (of staff and families). The atmosphere is fantastic and the integrated kindergarten program for three and four year old children is very good. The centre is a bit shabby looking, but the outdoor spaces are great and my child found it very cozy and welcoming from the start. My little one loves going and we'll definitely plan on staying with this centre until starting school. Read more
