As a placement student at Billy Beat Childcare Centre, Epping, I have had a very meaningful and valuable learning experience. What stands out about this centre is the supportive and respectful environment that the team creates for both children and educators The staff demonstrate genuine care for the children and work collaboratively to support their learning and wellbeing. It is clear that the educators are passionate about early childhood education and focused on creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. The management team, Simi and Benny provide strong leadership while remaining approachable and supportive. They encourage open communication and create opportunities for students Like me to observe, ask questions, and eflect on our practice. This support has helped me develop a deeper understanding of how quality early childhood education works in practice I also appreciate how the centre values placement students as part of the earning community. Rather than just observing, students are encouraged to participate, learn through experience, and build confidence in their professional skills. I completed my first placement at Billy Beet Childcare and Kindergarten and it was an incredibly valuable experience and I’m back at the same place for my second placement. The staff are always welcoming, supportive, and always willing to share their knowledge and guidance. I learned so much about child development, planning engaging activities, and creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. The teamwork and communication among staff were excellent, and I always felt included and respected. I’m very grateful for the opportunity given and really appreciate their hard work and dedication.
