Next Generation Kindergarten

Arabic Program: the children take part in the centre’s Arabic class program on a weekly basis, run by a professional educator.

Sustainability Program: includes activities such as gardening, worm farm, compost bins, recycling and energy saving.

Monthly excursions: We provide monthly excursion to visit the library at the St Jerome's Primary School for the 4-5 years old children.

We provide regular excursions which includes visit the local parks, shops, supermarket, post office and other communities.

Regular incursions: the children are given the opportunity to learn through hands on experiences, this incurrsions program includes: chicken hatch program, reptile shows, sea creatures shows, and Aboriginal and Indigenous presentations. 

School Readiness Program: for the children 4-5 years, this covers a range of academic and emotional areas. The school readiness program is designed to prepare the children for their transition to school taking into account each individual child’s age and skill level. 

Cooking experiences: to build on the children’s math concepts, language skills and confidence. The children help collect ingredients from the veggie garden to learn about where their food comes from.

I am so blessed to be able to lead a fantastic team of educators to scaffold children’s learning and development. I believe families and our local communities are integral to children’s lives and learning, hence, focusing on experiences of being together enables belonging. 

I believe children learn through play and are active learners, who make a significant contribution to the world. I endeavour to inspire children in early education, allowing them the opportunity to lay solid foundations for their future. 

Growing Beans Early Education Centre creates a perfect environment for children to discover and develop. We promote a positive disposition for learning, and engaging in play based education enables children to grow a sense of being and individuality. Children develop through differing contexts, which stem from the places in which they live and learn. This is the core of self discovery and is central to growing and becoming.

At Growing Beans Early Education Centre, the children enjoy nutritious Halal meals, covering breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. The menu plan is nutritionally balanced, culturally appropriate and is rotated over a six week period. The menu is evaluated regularly and seasonally to accommodate for fresh ingredients and seasonal produce. Meals are catered by Kids Gourmet Food. In the centre’s six-week rotating menu, the children’s meals contain food from the five food groups recommended by the Australian Dietary Guidelines. 

Some of the children’s favourite meals include butter chicken; chicken and corn rissoles with macaroni cheese pasta bake; BBQ chicken pizza with sweet potato, pineapple, capsicum and cheese; Japanese chicken balls with green vegetables, brown rice and katsu sauce; and chicken and sausage paella with yellow rice and green peas.
