Rossi Child Care Centre - Embleton
Rossi Child Care Centre - Embleton Centre overview
Rossi Child Care Centres are family-owned and operated services that have provided care to children in the Embleton and Morley areas for 29 years. We pride ourselves in the multicultural environment we can provide and the family love and care we give to our children and their families.
At Rossi Child Care Centre we provide learning opportunities that build upon each child's strengths while challenging them to explore their potential.
Children are encouraged to ask questions as they build an understanding of the world, and their place in it, while learning to live and play happily and purposefully with others.
We encourage children to be responsible for their learning through choices in experiences, interests and routine. We use conversations, actions, and play as the basis for teaching which involves the children being partners in teaching by seeking out ideas, opinions, thoughts, and questions. We encourage children in promoting their independence and self-help skills by assisting within the routine and involving the children in interest-based projects to further enhance their learning and knowledge.
We welcome you to contact us to arrange a convenient time to visit our service or feel free to come in and collect some information.

Teresa and the team as Rossi’s have been great over the past 3yrs we’ve been there. You can see the genuine care for the children and the wonderful work that they do. The home cooked meals are also great, even my fussy eater asks me to get the recipes for some of the meals they eat at day care so he can have them at home! There have also been great play and learning opportunities and incursions through the year. Thank you! Read more

They are very bad childcare and are suspected of disregarding the safety and lives of the children. Why didn't you call parents promptly after the incident? Instead, you casually mentioned it was an accident at the end of the day. Now, it's not just minor injuries; it's potentially life-threatening and could lead to infections! Do your employees lack professionalism, guidelines, and compassion. Also they never call and tell me abt this when it happens, until I pick him up and realised he got bitten. I just think they are too careless and don’t care. How can trust this childcare anymore!! When My husband picked up my child from this childcare center on 5th April 5:24pm, he was extremely sad, angry, and utterly disappointed by what he saw on our son’s face. His face was swollen with bruise mark around his eyes as the staff told me he was bitten by one of the child in the center. He also noticed signs of another child being bitten and also saw many reports on the table. When my husband asked the teacher about it, she didn't mention any details or reasons, just asked him to sign. We then took our son to the doctor, who was also furious. This kind of incident is unacceptable as it poses a threat to life and can lead to serious injuries or bacterial infections. Moreover, it's not the first time our son got bitten at the same center by the same child. Our son has been at this center for four weeks, and he has been bitten twice. Four incidents occurred simultaneously on April 5th. I requested a report from you, but haven't received any emails yet. However, now I no longer need it. I'll let everyone know, and the public can decide for themselves what is your guys the responsibility. Read more
Hi Cookie, We appreciate feedback and apologise for any stress this has caused, however it's disappointing to see false information in this review. To clarify, this was not a life-threatening injury. If it was a life-threatening injury, emergency services would have been immediately contacted in line with regulations. Providing medical attention to your son was our main priority. First Aid was promptly administered, the incident was reported to the Education and Care Regulatory Unit in accordance with the National Quality Standard, and we've reinforced our notification procedures with all staff. We ask when writing these reviews that you consider our dedicated, caring and highly trained staff, who prioritise the health and wellbeing of the children in our care. Thank you.
