About the curriculum
About the curriculum
Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the curriculum at Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre is designed around projects. With a focus on fun and play, the children are engaged in the project based around their unique interests.
The educators document the projects and share the children’s progress through portfolios that document the children’s individual learning journeys.
The curriculum for the preschool program helps to equip the children with tools and skills they’ll need for their transition to big school. Taught by qualified teachers, the preschool curriculum provides the framework for the different learning activities the children participate in.

What the parents say
“Our son has attended Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre in Gladstone St Parramatta since shortly before he turned 1. Staff at the Centre have encouraged and developed him and given him exposure to many different activities, ideas and knowledge. He is now almost ready for primary school and the centre has helped prepare him for the next chapter of his life.”
Trudy
“Reggio is more than an early learning centre - it is a family. My children have enjoyed growing with the wonderful staff who have love and care for them as if they are their own. I enjoy watching the bonds they have developed between the staff and feel confident their social, emotional and loving needs are being met.”
Courtney
“Both of our kids have had the pleasure of attending Reggio Emilia and we couldn’t be happier with the care and support they have received. The staff are amazing, they are always creating new and fun ways for the kids to learn and I couldn’t recommend them enough.”
Tara
“The teachers and staff are absolutely the best! My son has been going there for over a year. He loves all of his teachers and has so much fun learning, The staff and teachers care so much for each child who attends the centre. I have always seen the staff go above and beyond to ensure the safety and care of each child and always keep parents informed. My son loves to go to school and he asks about school even on weekends 🙂”
Praveen
“My children have been attending Reggio Emilia at Gladstone St for four years and have been very well cared for in that time. The teachers have helped them through all of their developmental challenges and I have full confidence in their ability to manage my sons when they are upset, cheeky or anxious about something. I am constantly surprised by the things my kids learn and think they are offered a good range of activities. Mostly I love that my boys are always welcomed and the teachers are warm and caring. Even if my boys are having a bad morning, I know they will settle well and have a good day.”

Our journey began when my little boy was only 19 months old. He is now 5 and will start big school. This is of course an achievement for him but we are sad to leave Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre Gladstone St. Each and every Educators we met over the last 2.5 years, were outstanding. Tracey Roach (Centre Director) is the heart of this centre. Tracey is a people person and connects everyone together. Miss Jenny, Miss Carmen, Miss Harshangi, Miss Sheela, Miss Swathi, Miss Mathura, Mr William not only looked after my kid but also helped him to learn lot of things. The changes I see in my son and development is incredible and I have to give a lot of credit to this amazing team. I always considered them as my family as for my son it was always his 2nd home. The fact is he spent longer time at Reggio than home beside his sleeping time. The centre is neat and tidy and offer lot of extra curricular activities including soccer, excursions, magic shows, language learning, etc. The food they provide to kids are in high standard. Please don't hesitate to visit Reggio Emilia Gladstone Street and speak with Miss Tracey Roach and enrol your kids. You and your kids will be looked after. Thanks for reading my reviews. Read more
