My daughter started at this centre in July 2024 at just 10 months old. Less than three months later, at 13 months old, she was assaulted by an employee and the “room leader.” The abuse only came to light when I noticed a 10-15 cm bruise across her back after picking her up. Upon further investigation and reviewing CCTV footage, it was revealed that the educator assaulted my daughter for 25-30 minutes simply because she didn’t want to sleep. The employee has now been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. To make matters worse, the worker initially told me that she was “just hard tapping my daughter, the way she likes it.” While the police reviewed the footage, they discovered another 9-month-old child also being assaulted. If my daughter hadn't had visible bruises, this horrific situation may have never come to light, and other parents would have remained unaware. What’s just as disturbing is that another staff member witnessed the incident, tried to intervene and never reported it. This centre should be utterly ashamed of the pain they've caused my family. I urge all parents to seriously reconsider entrusting their children to this place. The lack of accountability and failure to protect vulnerable children is unforgivable. Read more
