Welcome to Where We Grow Glenroy

Where We Grow Early Learning Glenroy is a place where they can learn, grow and develop under the guidance of caring educators. With activities to inspire little minds, the children's interests are nurtured and their individual needs met.

The indoor areas are light, bright and modern, purpose built to meet the developmental needs of the children. Natural learning resources create a calming learning environment for the children to safely explore different activities and experiences. They enjoy small and large group activities as well as opportunities for individual reflection and play.

The outdoor area is designed to help the children connect with nature. Sustainability and nature play are a big focus of the program and the outdoor area supports this. The children can run, jump, climb, explore and play, building important physical skills as they go on exciting imaginative adventures.

Our centre is staffed by experienced educators who use the latest child development programs to teach your child. Our focus is to ensure that your child grows in a supportive environment. Our curriculum is play-based learning that integrates structured learning and playtime. This approach supports a child's cognitive, social, and emotional growth. We aim to engage children’s interests and allow them to experience each day in a new way, supporting their learning in the lead-up to primary school.

Located in a leafy residential street, the centre is a short walk from William Street bus stops and also has convenient parking available on site. Why not book a tour of this modern and innovative centre today?

Programs

The centre is designed to encourage play-based learning, which supports the children in developing their interests, strengths and abilities. The educators focus on teaching the children to create a sustainable future, by using environmentally friendly resources and embedding sustainable practices in the program. The children learn about recycling and up-cycling resources, energy efficiency, water conservation, composting, gardening and caring for animals. The educators extend this by offering a nature play based outdoor space, with natural materials and of course nature play.

The children also participate in a range of extracurricular activities, including pottery, karate, yoga and cooking classes. These opportunities extend their learning and allow the children to explore new ideas and develop new skills.
