Rise Early Learning Camperdown Centre overview
Rise Early Learning Camperdown's dedication to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for young children.
-
Adaptive Reuse: Rise Early Learning Camperdown has repurposed an Inner West warehouse into a vibrant space designed specifically for young children. This adaptive reuse not only makes use of existing infrastructure but also provides a unique and creative setting for learning.
-
Play-Based Learning Philosophy: The center believes in a play-based learning philosophy. This approach recognizes the importance of hands-on exploration and imaginative play in a child's development. It encourages children to engage in activities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and social skills.
-
Empowering Children: Everything at Rise Early Learning Camperdown is geared towards empowering children to succeed in life. This likely means fostering a sense of agency, self-confidence, and independence in children, allowing them to take charge of their learning and development.
-
Rich Learning Environments: The center believes that children have the right to access rich learning environments. This suggests that the space is carefully curated with a variety of materials, resources, and activities that support learning across different domains—cognitive, physical, social, and emotional.
-
Inquiry-Based Pedagogy: Rise Early Learning Camperdown embraces an inquiry-based pedagogy. This means that learning is driven by children's questions, interests, and curiosities. It encourages active exploration, experimentation, and discovery, all of which are essential for developing critical thinking skills.
-
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF): The program at Rise Early Learning Camperdown is based on the EYLF, a national curriculum framework in Australia. This framework provides a guide for educators to create high-quality learning experiences that promote children's learning and development.
-
Educational Outcomes: The center is committed to supporting educational outcomes for children. This likely includes not just academic achievements but also social and emotional growth, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward learning.
Overall, Rise Early Learning Camperdown seems to offer a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to early childhood education. The combination of play-based learning, an inquiry-based pedagogy, and adherence to the EYLF provides a solid foundation for children's growth and success.

We have been very happy with the support, education & care both children have received over the span of 8 years and feel lucky to have found Leap, virtually on our doorstep. The communication and daily posts have been excellent and consistent throughout, with frequent updates from both the educators and the office team. Over the years there has also been a focus on continual business improvements, varied balanced menus from the in-house chefs, different creative/ sporting vendors which keep the kids engaged. We leave confident that they are set up for success for primary school. Read more
