Meet the team

Hello, my name is Zachary, and I am the proud Centre Manager here at Bluebird Clyde North. I have been in the Early Childhood industry for over 8 years now, and I hold my Diploma in Early Education. My passion for Early Childhood Education stems from the belief that these formative years lay the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning and development.

I take great pride in supporting a team of incredibly talented and passionate professionals who approach each day with purpose and intention. My philosophy in Early Education aligns closely with Oxanda Education’s values, emphasizing connection—WITH Teams, WITH Families, WITH Community, and WITH Children.

I believe that strong relationships between children and their educators are the foundation for meaningful learning and development. When children feel secure and valued, they gain a true sense of belonging, allowing them to thrive in their learning environment.

The environment itself is an extension of a child’s curriculum, and its appeal, diversity, and accessibility are vital in nurturing a child’s sense of being. It should inspire learning through play—play that is shaped by children’s interests, culture, and developmental needs. This, in turn, fosters a child’s sense of becoming, growing, and learning as an individual.

At Bluebird Clyde North, we embrace the uniqueness of every child, ensuring that our spaces and experiences reflect their diverse learning capabilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds.

I look forward to welcoming you to our Community.
About the curriculum

About the curriculum

The Kindergarten program is a complete cycle of each individual child’s development. Educators see and learn the ways children take on new knowledge and adapt their teaching practices to cater for them. The environment is busy and forever changing as learning evolves.

Through many literacy games, active outdoor play, and day-to-day activities, Educators strive to get each child ready for their first year of school, providing them with the emotional, physical and intellectual support.

Qualified Teachers constantly critically reflect on their curriculum, ensuring that it’s at its best for the diversity within the centre. A home away from home, where learning takes flight...

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

Kindy of Kindness - Initiatives may include visits to aged care facilities, baking for the local emergency services, and fund-raising projects to assist charity groups.

Sustainability Program - By taking part in daily sustainable living practices including recycling, composting, worm farming, energy and water saving, the children develop a working understanding of how they can play a vital role in protecting the environment.

Community connections - By forging strong community ties they enable the children to develop a deep sense of belonging and connection to the world around them, construct an understanding of how society works, and begin to recognise and respect the shared values that unite us.

Technology focus - Technology is introduced through a play based approach. Educators role model and assist children to gain new knowledge and to better understand concepts through the designated computer programs.

Health & Nutrition

Health & Nutrition

The centre believes in a hands-on approach to teaching children about food, which is why cooking classes are offered as part of the curriculum.

Children are encouraged to help out where they can, whether that’s chopping fruit for smoothies or pouring them out for everyone.

Food is used as a way to teach children about identifying their needs and attending to them. Children can access drink stations and fruit bowls for a quick snack.

I can’t recommend Bluebird highly enough. The staff truly go above and beyond for the children, creating a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and cared for. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do, and that makes such a difference. A special mention has to go to Zachary, who is an absolute star. His dedication, kindness, and ability to connect with the kids really stand out. He brings so much positive energy and genuinely cares about each child’s development and happiness. It’s such a relief knowing your child is in safe, capable hands. Bluebird is an amazing place, and I’m so grateful for everything they do.
