Adelaide Eastern Community Childcare Centre Inc is an accredited community run and community owned sessional long day care centre. Originally established by families working for and using the University of Adelaide in 1969, we pride ourselves on the many years of providing quality and affordable care. We are situated in converted blue stone residence on the corner of Watson Ave and Close St in Rose Park. We provide care to children in four different age groups.
The Association is governed by a Board made up of family members and the Director and Staff Rep. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic and long term direction of the organisation, deciding on matters pertaining to the membership and staffing, monitoring the budget and fundraising.

My son moved here from another childcare, he was selectively mute and hated going to childcare previously. Once he moved here he has opened up, loves running in and saying hello to all of the staff. This is an incredible childcare where the staff really take the time to learn what each child needs and wants. The childcare space itself is all about nature play, with the children allowed to explore and learn their own limits. Make sure to pack a bunch of outfits as they can get muddy or wet while exploring but the staff make sure they are changed into warm and dry clothing regularly. If I could give more stars I would, moving my son here was the best choice we could have made. Read more
