Seedling Kids

We are a family run Childcare centre located at 35 Brighton Ave Croydon Park, right across the road from Pure Gelato. We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.00pm and cater for children 2-5years.

At Seedling Kids our aim is to embrace each child’s individuality and unique personalities, respecting the responsibility of caring and educating children in the precious early years.
All the staff at Seedling Kids are highly qualified. We aim to have every staff member Diploma trained by end 2016. An Early Childhood Teacher is permanently present preparing children for school. At Seedling Kids we don’t believe in using agency casual staff. We have high staff to child ratios!

Our centre provides all meals for children. Breakfast, Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea and Late snack. Our qualified chef, Lina, provides children with quality nutritional meals prepared daily using the freshest ingredients. Chef Lina has over 20 years cooking experience having owned an Italian Restaurant before working at Seedling Kids.

Our centre’s program includes the five Learning Outcomes which are created to capture the integrated and complex learning and development of all children across the early childhood age group range. The outcomes are:
1. Children have a strong sense of identity
2. Children are connected with and contribute to their world
3. Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
4. Children are confident and involved learners
5. Children are effective communicators.

We plan for lots of special events throughout the year for engage children with meaningful real life experiences and learning. We plan for Police, Fire Fighters, Music and Movement Shows, Dentist Visits, Family picnic Days, Mothers day/ Fathers Day events and more. Our event calendar is full of amazing experiences for families to get involved in.

Every day, staff members at Seedling Kids complete a Daily Diary of your child’s learning. A portfolio compiled with children's learning, development and photographs are given to parents at the end of the year but can be viewed by parents at any stage. A weekly summary is sent to families keeping you updated about what's happening in our program.
