Epping North YMCA Early Learning Centre overview
Welcome to Epping North YMCA Early Learning Centre, our early learning programs give your child a great start to life.
We're committed to helping your child reach their potential. Our programs encourage children to be curious, confident and independent thinkers, who love learning and improving their capabilities.
Come and visit Epping North YMCA ELC, meet our passionate educators and discuss how our centre and programs can help your child nurture their interests, skills and abilities.
We provide:
- Healthy meals and snacks throughout the day prepared by our On-site Chef
- All rooms open to an outdoor play space and doors are open most of the day allowing children the opportunity to explore freely and make connections with their environment
- Long opening hours - 6:30am to 6:30pm
- Regular excursions
Our centre is located beside Harvest Home Primary School in Epping North, which gives us unique opportunities to develop school-readiness as children are able to experience the school environment a lot earlier and frequently. It also offers parents a convenient one drop-off and pick-up location for children of all ages.
We also offer Integrated Kinder. This means that your child can benefit from the government-funded Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs and access additional hours of care in the morning and afternoon outside of the kinder program. This makes integrated kinder a popular choice for active and working families. You can drop off and pick up your child any time during the opening times.

I am incredibly impressed with YMCA Epping North Daycare, especially with Surmeet, who has been an outstanding responsible person. Entire center offers a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe and happy. Surmeet goes above and beyond in providing personalized care, ensuring each child’s needs are met. She fosters a nurturing atmosphere where kids are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. My child has blossomed under Surmeet’s care, becoming more confident and social. The open communication between staff and parents is another huge plus, always keeping me informed of my child’s progress. I highly recommend YMCA EPPING NORTH, a fantastic place for children to thrive! Read more

I recently interviewed for a childcare worker position and, for the first time, I decided to be completely open with the interviewer. I mentioned that I wear hearing aids and have slight back pain from a car accident. Even though my experience is strong, I live nearby, and I felt my answers during the interview were solid. Despite this, I was rejected. In the past, I've always kept these issues to myself during interviews, and I've been successful in getting jobs, only revealing these details later on. I thought I could "be myself" this time, but this experience has made me question the so-called "no discrimination" policies in the workplace. It's very disheartening. Read more
