Woodlands Roxburgh Park
Woodlands Roxburgh Park Centre overview
Woodlands believe that children need the opportunity to explore and develop in a holistic envirnoment.
We encourage seperate outoor and indoor experiences as integral parts of the educational day. These experiences are specifically planned by our educators to develop our children socially, emtionally, cognitively and physically. Language sessions, music sessions, meals and other large and small group times encourage social skills.
Time, planning and situations, to develop moments of solitude are also encouraged as vital in the development of self and wellbeing. Our children are responsile for the care, respect and protection of their environment as well as the care, protection and respect of each other.
These values are imbedded into everything we do at Woodlands. We are proud to be actively involved in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

My son was attending this childcare since early 2023 and I was so happy with the centre. This year I have had nothing but absolute disgusting experience with this centre. From my child being so happy to go to his room in the morning to telling me everytime I drop him off he is so scared and screaming for me not to leave him. The unprofessionalism from the educators in the room telling me that they are struggling and need extra support (when ratio to children is completely fine). After providing this centre with my concerns it kept being put to the side and had to come to a point where my child got to a really bad stage it then was discussed. Something has happened at this centre for my son to be scared to go even next to the room. He had stopped eating at the centre as well and he always use to eat his food. He was constantly getting hit by the older children and i had told the leadership team but nothing had ever been done about it. I had to remove him immediately as it got to a point where the leadership team was definitely not saying everything that was and happening and my son was perrafied to go. It just shows that this centre is definitely not good and should be investigated. When requested the footage of when I seen my son get punched they used the excuse that the camera doesn't show thay section (it clearly does because they showed me footage of my son in the same spot). Very unprofessional. Children's needs AREN'T there priority at all. Read more
